Strategy

A City on a Hill
We have chosen a site at the high place of Topeka because it is a strategic location.
  • Jesus said, "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden." (Matthew 5:14)
  • We are to tear down false idols on the high places (2 Chronicles 14:2-5).
  • God often met His people on the high places (Genesis 12:8, 1 Chronicles 16:37-40)
  • Isaiah 2:3-- “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths.”
Worshiping under the Tabernacle of David
David’s 24/7 tabernacle will be raised up in the last days.
  • 1 Chronicles 9:33-- These are the singers, heads of the fathers’ houses of the Levites, who lodged in the chambers, and were free from other duties; for they were employed in that work day and night.
  •  1 Chronicles 16:37-- So [David] left Asaph and his brothers there before the ark of the covenant of the Lord to minister before the ark regularly, as every day’s work required;
  •  Amos 9:11-- “On that day I will raise up tThe tabernacle of David, which has fallen down, And repair its damages; I will raise up its ruins, And rebuild it as in the days of old;"
  • We will worship 24/7 from Thursday evening till sunrise Saturday.
Two Sticks
The act of joining two sticks in the manner of Ezekiel 37 is a prophetic act.
  • nThis kind of act is ordained by God to affect the spirit realm by performing an action in the physical realm.
  • OT example:  Moses raised the rod of God while Joshua fought the Amalakites (Exodus 17:11)
  • NT example:  Jesus heals a blind man by putting spit on his eyes (Mark 8:23)
  • We will join two sticks at the Two into One gathering on Thursday evening, September 30.
The Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) Sacred Assembly
We begin our meetings with a sacred assembly on the last and greatest day of the feast instituted by the Lord in Leviticus 23 and mentioned in John's gospel.
  • Leviticus 23:36-- On the eighth day you shall have a holy convocation, and you shall offer an offering made by fire to the Lord. It is a sacred assembly, and you shall do no customary work on it.
  • John 7:37-38--  On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.  He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”
  • The Feast of Sukkot was a reminder to the Israelites of God's constant presence and provision in the wilderness.
  • Our New Covenant understanding of this feast points to the fact that we can come boldly into the presence of the Father through the blood of His Son by the drawing of the Holy Spirit.
Proclamations
God's word does not return empty but accomplishes His purpose (Isaiah 55:11).
  • When we speak His truth, there is an impact in heaven and on earth.
  • OT example: Ezekiel speaks to the dry bones in the valley (Ezekiel 37)
  • NT example:  In the garden, Jesus said, “I am He,” and the detachment of troops fell to the ground (John 18:6)
  • Psalm 96:2-3-- Sing to the Lord, bless His name; Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day.  Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples.
  • We will make proclamations before the Lord in unity and covenant.
